LG Washer Dryers
If you have very little space to spare but hate going to a laundromat, you may want to consider one of the LG washer dryers that are available. Fitting into even the tightest of places, these all in one washer dryers can go where traditional machines cannot. Here are two models of the LG washer dryers for your consideration.
Washer Dryer Overview
In the U.S. at least, the most familiar of the washers and dryers is a pair; one washer and one dryer which function separately. They can be side-by-side or stack one on top of the other.
There’s a new kid in town, though, when it comes to cleaning clothes, and that is a washer/dryer combo. They are often referred to as all in one washer dryers, and the beauty of these units is that you put dirty clothes into the drum, and then next time you touch them, they are clean and dry. This nifty appliance washes the clothes, then turns right around and dries them in the same tub.
The downside to these washer dryers are that they take longer to dry the clothes, and that you can’t have two loads going at once, the way you could with two separate units. But that’s a small price to pay, compared to visiting the laundromat.
LG Washer Dryers
The first of the LG washer dryers is model WM3455HW. This is a ventless system, and it has a capacity of 2.7 cubic feet. Model WM3455HW has 5 water rinse temperatures and 9 wash programs. Here’s something useful; a delay timer so you can program the washer to start while you’re at work, and come home to fresh, clean clothes and linens. It runs on 120 volts and uses 12 amps. Energy Star compliant, the cost of these LG washer dryers is around $1,300 in white. If you’d like the silver version (WM3455HS) of these LG washer dryers, then add another $100 to the cost.
The next of the LG washer dryers is model LGWM3987HW. This model is also a ventless condenser system, and it has a much larger capacity of 4.2 cubic feet. Similar to the previous one, model LGWM3987HW has 5 water rinse temperatures and 9 wash programs, and also has a delay feature. This LG washer dryer has something called “TrueBalance”, which is an anti-vibration system to reduce noise. It runs on 120 volts and uses 12 amps. Energy Star compliant, the cost of these LG washer dryers is around $1,350.
So those are two of the LG washer dryers that are available, and which can ultimately save you money compared to using a laundromat.
